Versals on Book Paper & Book Binding

Debbie Dutton from Houston will be our presenter for the February free morning program and paid afternoon bookbinding workshop. In the morning we will draw the versal letters, transfer them to book paper, paint, and turn it into a finished art piece.   In the afternoon we will create a bound book with gorgeous papers and buttons.

VERSALS ON BOOK PAPER
MORNING PROGRAM 

Morning Supply List:  
Watercolors or gouache
Watercolor brush, round & small
Water container
Gold and white UniBall gel pens
Light gray markers for shadows
Black waterproof fineliners
     (Micron 05)
Pointed pen and ink
Ruler
Glue stick
Tracing paper or marker layout
     paper
Pencil and eraser
Light box or pad if you have one
                Debbie will provide a color handout and all papers. $2 supply fee day of the meeting.

AFTERNOON WORKSHOP
($20 WCG fee + $12 supply fee = $32 total fee; nonmembers $47)

2 big clips
X-Acto knife & cutting mat
Bookbinding awl
Debbie will provide: all papers, templates, floss, needles, beads, and handout for the $12 supply fee.
