Meander Book
Get ready
for a fast, fun, and simple bookbinding workshop! Member Virginia Green,
associate professor of art and graphic design at Baylor, will teach us the
Meander book, which is basically an accordion book created out of one sheet of
paper. We will make one with separate covers made from paste paper and other
art papers. The inside pages are letterpress printed and are waiting to be
adorned with color and letters! We will also discuss optional ways to use this
versatile binding.
Tools to
Bring (we will also have these on hand):
Bone
folder
Colored pencils
Pens (must have colored ink)
X-Acto or Ulfa knife
Cutting mat
12-inch ruler (for measuring and cutting)
