Card Making with Beth
Wondering what to do with the leftover strips and pieces of
decorative paper, card stock, or even your practice papers? Beth Pristash
will show you some ways you can use these to make greeting cards. In the
morning free program, we will learn the Starburst pattern.
¨ Glue, glue stick, or other adhesive
¨ Paper trimmer or cutter, or scissors
– I will have an extra trimmer.
¨ Ruler, Pencil, eraser
¨ Decorative paper or cardstock (1” –
3” wide by 5” or more in length for the morning– There will be plenty
available, if you do not have any. This can also include practice papers; see the picture for an example.
¨ Writing tools or a sentiments stamp
set with ink pad to put a words on your card if you like.
Card bases and envelopes will be provided for both the
morning program and the afternoon workshop.
Afternoon workshop…
If this isn’t enough fun, plan to stick around for the afternoon workshop where we will continue our card making journey. We will learn how to use the bigger leftover pieces from our morning card with additional pieces and 1” squares to make another card style. Also, we will learn how to make a Faux Shutter card. Same supplies as above.
In addition to the $25 afternoon fee, there will be a $5
supply fee.
