Everyone has a STORY and your story is made up of
hundreds of little day-to-day moments. In addition to portability and simplicity, we
will discuss layout, color, and adding words. Because what is a story without
words?! We are calligraphers, after all! This month Kim Lamberth will help us explore ways to use the new skills
and tools learned over the past year to capture your unique storyline.
This program is all about you! Bring your favorite tools
and supplies and we will talk about how to use those to JOURNAL YOUR DAY. While we will not use acrylics, you are
encouraged to bring pieces or strips of things you’ve made (gelli print,
marbled paper) and we will incorporate them.
Suggestions of what to bring:
- Journal, about 5x8 or similar, or loose paper that works with your preferred medium. (Although I really recommend a bound journal!)
- watercolors - pencils/pan/or liquid such as Ecoline
- brush markers such as Tombow and/or colored markers
- Permanent pen 0.3 or 0.5
