WATER+COLOR+LETTERING!
We will explore the fluid, energetic techniques of brush
lettering with watercolors. Kim Lamberth will cover lettering styles and
techniques, including the variety of options available to you. We will also
look at different techniques to add pizazz to our letters that can be used for
the fall and holidays! Get ready for a colorful and fun filled time
exploring the many ways to use watercolor to add life to your projects and to
express yourself.
Supplies:
* small round brush such as Size 0 (2 or 4 is also fine)
and/or a Water brush pen (small or medium) -- Kim likes the Niji brand which MC Arts on Washington carries
* watercolor paper* liquid watercolors, such as Ecoline, or pan watercolors, such as Prang
* 6 well plastic palette
* pipette
* small pen such as a Micron
* paper towels
* small water container
