Conferences and
classes!
There are lots of ways to expand and
enhance your lettering and learn new techniques. Two ways are attending
conferences and taking online workshops. At the November meeting Debbie Dunn
will share details on a Watercolor Lettering class she recently took online
from Val Webb. Karon Wheeless and Suzi Ickles will concentrate on the
international calligraphy conference “A Show of Hands” which was held last year
in Asheville, NC. Karon will share some of the techniques she learned in
the Neuland class and will teach everyone how to make an easy origami-fold book
that requires no sewing or gluing. Suzi
will provide details about the LetterWorks
conference for 2017 that will be in Ogden, Utah. All materials will be
furnished. Just come and enjoy!
