Hello 2016!

Many exciting things are happening with the Waco Calligraphy Guild!

We are now comfortable in our new meeting place at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. The facilities are perfect for us: big tables with comfy chairs, extra tables for displaying items, a large room, good lighting, comfortable heating and air conditioning, handicap access, a full kitchen with a Dr Pepper machine, a permanent place for our library, and a more convenient location for many members. We loved being at the Art Center for many years, but St. Matthew offers us some new great benefits.

This Fall Jeanne Dittmann won the contest to design a new logo for the guild, which can be printed on T-shirts or thousands of other items through Zazzle.com. Then new logo is shown on the top of this website. If you prefer the classic logo designed by Carol Measures Scott, it is available, too.

Another exciting thing is a new website. This website will offer a way for members to easily retrieve information about meetings and upcoming events, plus get our message out to a broader audience.

We are also excited about our several new members since the summer, and the new talents they will bring to our group.

2016 is looking like it will be a great year for the Waco Calligraphy Guild!
